I'm extremely happy with these oven mitts. These are perfect for handling hot items on the BBQ or in the kitchen. These gloves provide excellent heat protection when i grilling. Are very comfortable and fit perfectly fine. Completely satisfied!!

I bought these gloves for my husband as he is forever baking bread in a dutch oven or making pizza in the oven on a steel sheet at over 500 degrees. These gloves, rather than mittens, allow him to remove items from the oven without any slipping as these are gloves rather than mittens. Also, he feels ZERO heat throw the gloves when removing the dutch oven and steel sheeting from the oven!!! Never before have we had mittens that would do that, even super expensive one we bought from William Sonoma. My only reservation about these gloves is that if you ae a person with large hands, they might not fit you. This one size only fits my husband who is average height and weight and the gloves fit him tightly, which is fine. But, my 6 foot 2 son-in-law will not be able to get these for his Christmas present.

At first I thought they'd be way too big for my hands like most gloves, but the layer on the inside fit perfectly. I have better control when taking stuff out the oven. Also I recently used them for canning. They got a bit wet while removing sealed jars from the lifted rack but only felt sightly warm when the a little boiling hot water made contact(note:I did not submerge the glove into the water.) Definitely won't be going back to those old style oven mitts. Love these!

I wasn't anticipating to be very impressed by this kit, based on the price. We just purchased a smoker and we were looking for gloves to use with it. These gloves are comfortable and seem to offer plenty of protection! And the BBQ claws work great! I highly recommend this kit for anyone with a backyard grill or smoker.
